Written material includes correspondence, typescripts with notes, notes, and research material. Illustrative material includes dummies, pencil sketches, materials and pieces used for creating mixed-media relief print illustrations, and other related items. The collection also contains an original illustration print for the page 6-7 spread from Apple Pie Fourth of July.
