Dr. Milabel Enriquez-Ho

Dr. Milabel Enriquez-Ho is a registered nurse and educator who spent more than four decades in government service.

In 2012, she assumed the presidency of the Western Mindanao State University in Zamboanga City and became its fifth president until her retirement early this year.

Dr. Ho was elected Chair of the Board of Governors of the Philippine Nurses Association in 2004.

As such, she had the opportunity to represent the nurses of the Philippines to the first World Health Professions Alliance Leadership Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. In 2007, she was awarded the Anastasia Giron Tupas Award, the highest accolade given by the Philippine Nurses Association, Inc. (PNA) to a professional nurse in recognition of her contribution to the nursing profession.
